Each inspection point is documented with photos and logged in our QC database. Buyers receive a full inspection report with every shipment.
Every batch of timber, foam, fabric and hardware is checked against purchase specifications. Foam density tested at 35-45 kg/m³. Fabric weight, color fastness and composition verified before cutting.
Assembled frames undergo a 150 kg static load test for 30 seconds. Corner joints inspected for glue coverage and screw/bolt torque. Any frame that flexes beyond 3 mm is rejected.
Spring tension and elastic webbing spacing verified per model spec. Hand-tied knots counted. Sag test performed with 80 kg distributed weight for 60 seconds.
Cut foam pieces matched to pattern templates within 2 mm tolerance. Density spot-checked with calibrated gauge. Fire-rated foam certificates cross-referenced per order (CAL 117 / BS 5852).
Each cut panel inspected for weave defects, color consistency and pattern alignment. Panels numbered and matched to frame. Defective panels recut immediately – no rework allowed.
Double-stitched seams checked at 3 mm stitch density. French seams on visible edges. Thread tension tested by hand-pull. Any skipped stitch triggers full seam redo.
Fitted covers inspected for wrinkles, misalignment and tension uniformity. Piping straightness checked with laser guide. Button tufting depth and spacing verified against approved sample.
Finished piece measured against approved drawings: overall width, depth, height, seat height, arm height. Tolerance: ±5 mm. Pieces outside tolerance are not packed.
Recliner mechanisms cycled 50 times. Swivel bases rotated 360° under load. Legs torque-checked. Drawer slides (if applicable) opened/closed 30 cycles. Floor protection verified.
Full visual inspection under 500-lux lighting. Surface photographed from 4 angles. Wrapped in foam + PE film, corner-protected, boxed. Packing list cross-checked against order manifest.

Yes. We welcome SGS, Bureau Veritas, TUV or your own appointed inspector at any stage of production. We provide full access to the production floor, material storage and QC records. Please give us 48 hours notice to arrange access and documentation.
Any unit that fails a QC checkpoint is pulled from the line immediately. Depending on the defect type, it is either reworked (minor sewing issues) or scrapped and rebuilt (frame or structural defects). You are notified with photos within 24 hours. Replacement units are produced at no additional cost.
Yes. Every shipment includes a QC report with: pass/fail status per unit, 4-angle photos of finished pieces, material certificates (foam density, fabric composition, fire rating), and dimensional verification data. Reports are delivered in PDF within 48 hours of packing completion.
Our defect rate is under 0.5%, measured as the percentage of units requiring rework or replacement out of total units shipped. This is tracked monthly across all production lines and verified by third-party pre-shipment inspections when requested by buyers.
Absolutely. For hotel projects and OEM orders, we regularly add custom checkpoints: specific load tests, fabric rub cycle verification, color matching under designated light sources, or packaging drop tests. Share your QC checklist and we will integrate it into our process.
If a defect is discovered after delivery, send us photos and the unit serial number (printed on every frame). We assess within 72 hours. Confirmed manufacturing defects are covered: we ship replacement parts or units at our cost, or credit your next order. Our 2025 claim rate is under 0.3%.
